52 Weeks Project: Circles

from the Photo Lab

It’s time for this year’s LAST 52 Weeks project post! This is a creative blog ring in which a group of fellow pet photographers post their photographic interpretation of the week’s theme and link to each other’s blog. Start here and click on the link at the bottom of this post to jump to the next photographer’s blog, follow the ring until you end up back here. Stay tuned for more 52 Weeks project posts in 2012!

This week’s theme: Circles

No pun intended, this week’s challenge threw me for a loop. With little time to spare before we head out to Mexico to welcome the new year, we opted for something fun and a bit candid.
We always look for an excuse for some Polaroid fun anyway. The theme being circles, we realized we had the perfect subject snoozing right in front of us; our cat Leeloo has this little habit we call the Rollie-Pollie-Loo. Her favorite position to sleep in, is in a tight little circle almost like a Pillbug (aka the Rollie Pollie) or a Nautilus shell. Below, 4 different days; 4 different places to snooze, same Rollie-Pollie-Loo.

Heaidng over now to visit Karla Ogilvie Photography. Wishing everyone a very happy New Year! See you in 2012 for some more weekly fun :)
